Traditional Parisian style will certainly be a great inspiration for me this springtime.
There’s something very fresh about the decor with its muted, gentle pallet and soft accent tones. The high ceilings and spacial rooms create a feeling of relaxation and calmness, away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life…
I love a bit of luxury and the oversized mirror in the picture below is just beautiful to me. Not only will it create the illusion of space but the size is just perfect for seeing your outfit in full-length! The surrounding decor is minimalistic and the bare walls tone down the extravagance of the mirror and intricately detailed chair to the left. The balance of simplicity and luxury is just right. I have come across a really cute website called The Paris Apartment- a treasure trove of gorgeous goodies! The items are mainly sourced from antique exhibitions in (you guessed it) Paris and there’s even the opportunity to attend a shopping trip with the director, Claudia! As with most luxuries, the items don’t come cheap but I’m sure any purchase would be worth every penny.
