I love Shu Uemura for her dramatic range of false lashes (pricey but sooo much fun to wear on a night out with the girls!) and beauty experts swear her eyelash curlers are the best in the business.  I must admit I don’t often get excited about makeup, as I have my favourites which I know work for me. 

However, I read recently at elle.com that Japanese fashion designer Tsumori Chisato is to collaborate with Shu Uemura on a new collection of makeup!  Named “Wish Upon a Star”, the line picks up on elements from the designer’s runway collection and is inspired by the book, “Petit Prince”, byAntoine de Saint-Exupéry, featuring stars and cats.  The collection will include shades of bubble-gum pink and luxurious gold, just in time for the festive season!  Poetic and feminine, the range includes three types of lip-gloss, false eyelashes, an eye makeup palette, which is all presented in two very girly cases.  I’ve got my eye on the Planet Kat Palette… I’ll race you to the shops when it launches in the UK in November!
