A visionary master

Hugely talented fashion designer Alexander McQueen sadly took his own life on Thursday 11th February, leaving behind a world-renowned clothing line. His designs were true works of art and wonderfully inspiring. How amazing are the prints on these dresses, below?

McQueen was awarded a CBE for services to the fashion industry and was named International Designer of Year at the Council of Fashion Design Awards. A true inspiration to the industry and a leading light in the world of fashion. Read more here.

This is so sad…what a waste…it is hard to imagine that someone’s life is so difficult that he/she decides to end it. I cannot fathom the concept at all. And he was talented, wealthy and really had the world at his feet and still…he couldn’t cope. So sad…lovely designs.

a very close friend of his committed suicide and his mum passed away earlier this year, that combined with what must be one of the most stressful jobs in the world must’ve pushed him too far. I hope the label continues…
