Top of the shops: Ruby Roost

April 28th, 2010

Based in Liverpool, Ruby Roost is a cute online homeware boutique selling “little treats for your home”.   They mix vintage finds with beautiful modern accessories, appealing to those who favour the eclectic look.

ABC wall sticker, £30.50

I like the style and overall effect of the wall stickers above, but i think I’d prefer something other than ‘ABC’.  Stunning colour pallet!

stoneware coffee beaker, £23.99

vintage style wall mirror, £24.95

Gorgeous colours! rustic timber frames, £40 approx.

Oh, my dear friend Maria. How lovley of you to have done this post. You are so kind and a very generous person. You really do spread the love !! I have loved that Paul Massey house for ages. I had the photos saved about a year ago and then, when Sophie Dahl’s programme started (I do love a cookery programme !!) I couldn’t believe that they had used that house. It’s absolutely gorgeous, isn’t it ? It’s funny because, it is in the same place that our daughter lives. It is just outside the centre of London in a very trendy area. Most of the houses are Victorian/Edwardian. My daughter lives in a similar one but not quite as wonderful as that one !!!! She wishes that she did live in Paul Massey’s house but, as it’s up for sale for 1.45 million, I don’t think that she can quite afford that !!!! haha.Once again Maria, many thanks for your lovley words. You are a true blogging friend. Take care and lots of love. XXXX
