Quirky house in Kensal Rise
This north west London home is so light, airy and refreshing. I love the gentle pastel colour palette, which continues throughout the house. So much inspiration! It just goes to show how a few carefully-placed home accessories can turn a house into a home…

White flooring and walls give the illusion of space due to the continuation of colour

The dining area has a very organic feel to it. The miss-match of chairs finish the room off beautifully

This collage of prints on the wall helps to bring the room together and gives it a modern touch

Even small touches can make a place feel more homely. D.I.Y doesn’t always have to be costly!

A beer’s just a beer, right? Well no, apparantly. I’m not a huge fan of the stuff myself but looking at these ‘beer cocktails’ I could soon be liking it very much! Let us know if you try one…

Limeade concentrate and orange liqueur

Fresh slices of cucumber, apple, and orange mixed with orange juice

Made with fresh raspberries and raspberry lemonade concentrate

Make your own non-alcoholic beer from bottled ginger, lime juice, sugar, and sparkling water! It looks so refreshing. I love that ‘kick’ you get from ginger, too.

Niki Jones‘ online homeware store is all about adding a little individuality to your home. All pieces have been carefully handcrafted, supporting traditional manufacturing techniques. As a result, the collection has a strong Indian feel throughout, with intricate patterns, striking bursts of colour and elaborate embellishment.
Mix these decorative touches with charcoal greys for a more masculine feel…

“ Having moved out of London I became aware that there was a real lack of choice if you were looking for something a bit different and special. I wanted to create a collection that celebrated the handmade but also embraced the far reaching capabilities of the web. Mixing traditional craft with cutting edge web technology.” – Niki Jones

Oh Miu Miu, how I love you! If only I could afford one of your luscious handbags… maybe one day.
The A/W 2010 collection took inspiration from the 1960’s, with its clean lines, bold patterns, daring hemlines and fun shapes. The 60’s is my favourite era in terms of fashion.

I love the cute bows around the neckline!
