Pear and dark chocolate crumble

This dessert looks really impressive yet it isn’t actually that hard to do- plus it tastes delicious!  I found it was best to slice the poached pears before serving (whilst still retaining the shape of the pear for presentation, if you know what I mean!) because they can be tricky for guests to eat when left whole.  Enjoy!
