Couture furniture

October 22nd, 2010

Jean Paul Gaultier and furniture brand Roche Bobois have joined forces to create a fantastic couture furniture collection and I am loving the sofa!

The collection includes a paravent bed, with an upholstered headboard and the Mah Jong modular sofa, upholstered by Jean Paul Gaultier and designed by Hans Hopfer.

The intricate prints and nautical vibes just scream Gaultier.  Fun but classy, this collection suggests you love style but don’t take yourself too seriously.  With so much going on it may be wise to keep the surrounding space simple and clean for maximum impact.

What do you think, is it just nice too look at but too much to live with?

Wow! that is some sofa, but I think it would look great in a setting with all white and maybe some touches of the colors from the sofa around the room…accessories too. :)

I don’t disagree, but I don’t know that I’m where you are yet. Still, I enjoyed what you’ve written. Keep up the good work!
