Colourful Kids
A child’s bedroom is the place where you can really go to town with colour. Help to stimulate their minds with lots of imagery and a bright colour palette.

Opt for easy-to-wipe surfaces, lots of clever storage and wodden flooring to keep the room as clean and as tidy as possible with minimal effort! I’ve never seen a child’s bedroom look so tidy (above)!

Wall stickers are ideal for a child’s bedroom; not only do they help to brighten up the room, the stickers can also be changed as the child grows older to suit their ever-altering taste… genious!

One of my favourite homewear shops has got to be Maison in Richmond. Every time I go in I feel I want to buy everything! The French-style furniture is beautiful and of noticably high quality, whilst the accessories are so cute, especially the childrens’ range!
Much of the furniture is white wash and of a traditional style, therefore if you favour the Old England, shabby-chic or traditional French or English look, this company will be like a dream for you!

We’ve been looking after our lovely little niece the odd day here and there and my, what a big mess a little person can make! She has so many toys that I thought it best to get some kind of toy box for her when she is visiting. Not only will it be easier to find everything but it’s a great way to teach a child to tidy up after themselves. I found my favourites at Ikea… something fun, bright and cheap to buy. My choices are quite loud and colourful but take a look at Ikea’s other storage solutions on offer if you are looking for something a little tamer!
