If ever there was a perfect example of how to add striking accents of colour to a home, this would be it.  The owner of this beautiful Scandinavian home has begun with a white base (what I like to call a blank canvas) and added colourful home accessories throughout.

The bright white walls and flooring give the illusion of space, really ‘opening-up’ an area by reflecting the light.  The stripey rug in the hallway (above) adds depth.

Everything looks really fresh doesn’t it?  The colourful home accessories are what gives this home its personality.
