Feeling blue
I love how fresh and sophisticated blue decor can look. Mix pale blue hues with greys, teal, white and rich mahogony for the ultimate in stylishness! These images below are examples of blue at its best- don’t be afraid to add a little colour to your home. Just add a pretty bunch of daffodils and you’ll be all set for Spring!

If adding colour feels a little bit daunting at first, try slowly introducing colourful home accessories such as scatter cushions, a throw or a lampshade.

Feeling Blue
It been a week of disaterous events at our house, so it seems rather apt for the theme today to be blue!

the lovely shade of blue on the wall really ‘lifts’ the whole room…

love the ‘sky’ wallpaper, above! The perfect backdrop for the colourful sofa

the walls have a chalky look about them here, very Greek-looking

How adorable are the steps leading up to the wardrobe? Not sure my balance would be too good first thing in the morning, though!

Blue Notes
I wanted to share with you today this gorgeous summer house located on the Spanish island of Formentera, isn’t it pretty?!

What differentiates this house from the rest is the stunning accent of blue used throughout the home. The colour is really emphasised against the pure white background and is refreshing in the warm climate.
Sometimes these thick stone houses can feel a little ‘cold’ and uninviting but I could move in here straight away!!
