Tulips, windmills, bicycles, clogs… these are some of the things which may pop into your head when someone mentions The Netherlands.  But Amsterdam has so much more to offer!  Beautiful canals, a buzzing social scene and stunning scenery all help to put Amsterdam high on my list of places to visit.  Katie has just been on a business trip and it’s made me realise how much I want to go…

Aside from the Red Light District, Amsterdam is known by many for its coffee shops (above), which are legally allowed to sell up to 5 grams of marijuana to any one customer.
