Do believe the hype
Love her or loathe her, there’s no escaping the fact that former Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham is set to make it big in the world of high fashion. Although there’s no doubting her already-found fame helped her in launching the brand successfully, the pieces are beautifully luxurious in their own right.
Have you heard the news that the couple are expecting another baby? Hats off to Victoria for balancing work and home life successfully!

Couture furniture
Jean Paul Gaultier and furniture brand Roche Bobois have joined forces to create a fantastic couture furniture collection and I am loving the sofa!
The collection includes a paravent bed, with an upholstered headboard and the Mah Jong modular sofa, upholstered by Jean Paul Gaultier and designed by Hans Hopfer.

The intricate prints and nautical vibes just scream Gaultier. Fun but classy, this collection suggests you love style but don’t take yourself too seriously. With so much going on it may be wise to keep the surrounding space simple and clean for maximum impact.
What do you think, is it just nice too look at but too much to live with?

Miu Miu takes inspiration from the 60′s…
Oh Miu Miu, how I love you! If only I could afford one of your luscious handbags… maybe one day.
The A/W 2010 collection took inspiration from the 1960′s, with its clean lines, bold patterns, daring hemlines and fun shapes. The 60′s is my favourite era in terms of fashion.

I love the cute bows around the neckline!

Draw some couture
I’ve just been looking at the News From Fashion website, where Angéline Mélin shares her vision of fashion and lifestyle through her daily illustrations. I love how creatively-minded she is and how she is able to so easily express her thoughts and feelings through drawing.

Angéline Mélin drew the cute girl to the top right of our blog… she is so talented! Looking at her drawings made me want to dig my old ones out from college and Uni… I wish I was in a job now where I could draw all the time. I drew the collection below based on a 50′s American diner theme. I’m not quite as good as Angéline, particularly when it comes to drawing faces, I’ve always struggled with that part!
