I’ve had this image, below, for a while now (and unfortunately didn’t make a note of where it is or where I discovered it) and I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to share it with you.  The entrance to your home is just as important as the interior, as it is the very first thing a person sees and first impressions are important.

Depending on were you live and whether you rent or are a home owner, there tends to be a limit on what changes you can make to the exterior.  However, a lick of colourful paint on the door and a few potted plants carefully placed around the doorstep could be all you need to add to create that welcoming vibe!
