Cartoon Couture
Central Saint Martins graduate Yang Du is definitely ‘one to watch’ in the fashion world. Her designs remind me a little of Jean Charles de Castelbajac and I can totally see Katy Perry in one of these outfits. How cool is the eye makeup, too- love it!

Tableware fit for royalty
Well you certainly wouldn’t risk putting these in the dishwasher! I’ve just been lusting after the very desirable range of Versace homeware. The patterns are so intricate and pretty and I’m quite fond of the pink and blue colours.
One thing’s for sure though- if I owned any of these pieces, they’d only come out on special occasions and I’d be watching you didn’t drop anything!

Cup and saucer set, £663 approx
What do you think of these prices- would you see it as an investment and a small price to pay for years of luxury dining, or can you think of better ways to spend your hard-earned cash?

Sugar bowl, £145 approx
Plate, £136 approx

Salt and pepper pots, £157 approx
Candle, approx 42.50

The hardest job in the world?
There’s no doubt in my mind that Sarah Burton currently has the toughest job. People watched with bated breath last Tuesday as Burton’s first solo collection for the late Alexander Mcqueen made its debut down the runway in Paris.

Displaying great skill and sensitivity, Burton undoubtedly surpassed all expectations. Whilst no one can ever fill the shoes of Mcqueen, this debut collection proves that she definitely has what it takes to ensure the label lives on.

Couture furniture
Jean Paul Gaultier and furniture brand Roche Bobois have joined forces to create a fantastic couture furniture collection and I am loving the sofa!
The collection includes a paravent bed, with an upholstered headboard and the Mah Jong modular sofa, upholstered by Jean Paul Gaultier and designed by Hans Hopfer.

The intricate prints and nautical vibes just scream Gaultier. Fun but classy, this collection suggests you love style but don’t take yourself too seriously. With so much going on it may be wise to keep the surrounding space simple and clean for maximum impact.
What do you think, is it just nice too look at but too much to live with?

Louis Vuitton: 100 Legendary Trunks
If you buy one fashion book this winter, make it Louise Vuitton: 100 Legendary Trunks. We all know LV is the king of all-things-luggage and has been the lust-after label for many years. Illustrated with over 600 images taken from the Louis Vuitton archives, this special book gives the reader an insight into the fascinating trunk design history.

Authors Pierre Léonforte and Éric Pujalet-Plaà curate 100 of the finest trunks the Louis Vuitton company has produced on commission, including boxes made for movie stars from Douglas Fairbanks to Sharon Stone and couturiers from Jeanne Lanvin to Karl Lagerfeld, as well as cases designed for Ernest Hemingway and Damien Hirst.
The creations are clever, unique, luxurious and of course so very desirable!
