Cute cupcakes
If anyone knows how to make the perfect cupcake, it’s Martha Stewart. You’d think there’d only be so much you could do with such a small thing but she never fails to inspire and excite me with her creations.
A Cupcake Queen if ever there was one!

Good enough to eat
I loved the cupcake wrappers so much from last Thursday’s blog that I decided to do a little more research on them. Whilst there are a number of companies offering decorative cupcake wrappers, one stood out proudly from the rest.
Located in Wisconsin in the US, Paper Orchid specialises in laser cut paper decoration which tend to be used at major events such as weddings.
Did you know ‘cupcake trees’ are becoming a new trend, replacing the traditional wedding cake? The individual cakes can even double as wedding favors!

Paper Orchid also makes special laser-cut favor boxes as well as matching invitations, envelope seals, and note cards. How sweet!

Designer cupcakes
There seems to be a real trend at the moment for designer cupcakes… there are bakeries popping up left right and center! Each cupcake is a little work of art in itself, almost too good to eat.
Cupcakes make the perfect gift- especially if you make them yourself, from the heart. The decoration and presentation is just as important as the taste- a pretty bow, cute wrapper or an attractive cake stand can make all the difference.
I love these ideas, below… they look amazing don’t they?

Christmas Candy Cane Cupcakes!
Wouldn’t these adorable eggnog latte cupcakes be a fabulous treat for guests (okay then, yourself!) throughout the Christmas period? The red in the candy canes is really striking against the neutral colours of the cupcake and the pretty snowflakes tie-in with the Chistmas theme.
Almost too cute to eat. I said almost!
