Summer Loving
Summer is the time to dare to go bright- both inside and outside the home. Drape colourful throws over furniture, dig out those summer cushions and have beautiful displays of flowers dotted around your home. It’s sure to put you in the mood for summer, even if the British weather doesn’t!
I’m sure I could lay here for hours, listening to the gentle ripples of the water…
We’ve just placed fresh flowers in all of our rooms and it really makes a difference to the mood! I love the bright colours… perfect for cheering you up on a rainy day. Why not think of new ways to display your bunch, such as in a watering can (above), colourful tin bucket (below) or milk jug?

These pictures suggest we aren’t making enough of our walls! Product and print designer Hanna Nyman creates intricately designed wallpaper, often in 3D. I love the three-dimentional flower wallpaper, below… the different shapes and textures are just so appealing.

Hanna works mostly with patterns that change shape, focusing on when something beautiful transforms into something new or acquires an unexpected function.

The wallpaper below is designed so that the user peels back a select section of the wall, allowing customization of the the pattern and giving each wall its own identity.
It’s amazing how fabric can be manipulated to look as fabulous as this, below!

Just spotted these owls over on Sunday Times columnist, India Knight ’s blog and had to share the image with you! How fantastic do they look? Unfortunately no one is sure where this is located- any ideas?
