Château de Bagnols
The stunning Chateau De Bagnols is a castle located in the midst of the vineyards of Beaujolais, France. The restoration of many of the 21 rooms has revealed the most remarkable Renaissance and 18th century wall and ceiling frescoes. How amazing is that?! The decor is just fabulous and really takes you back to a bygone era..

It looks like the snow is set to get worse, folks! I’m quite thankful I haven’t made any plans to travel in the near future because most airports across the country seem to have been affected one way or another.

One place I would love to go to though is Provence; albeit only because I want to stay in Jardins Secrets, a beautiful four star hotel which oozes luxury French style at its best! With its opulent decor and welcoming ‘home-from-home’ feel, I’m not sure I’d ever want to leave!

The rich colour palette and warm lighting create a very welcoming ambiance. What a beautiful headboard!

I love the shabby-chic feel of this bathroom, its so romantic…

Story Time
I’ve just been reading about a fantastic hotel located in Stockholm over on Emma’s blog and I just had to share these images with you all!
Named Story, the modern four star hotel is situated in the city centre, in the upper-class neighbourhood of Östermalm. The inspiration behind the interior design was developed from old, New York-style rundown restaurants and bohemian Paris hotels, creating a personal and urban feeling.

I love the rich bursts of colour seen throughout (especially the deep purple) and the modern art on the walls. Aren’t the vases pretty in the picture above, all with different types of flower?
Story is an clever mix of heritage sophistication and contemporary innovation, adapting original features from the period building, whilst introducing bespoke design pieces throughout. I always think it’s important to maintain the original features if possible.
Filled with original wallpapers and wooden flooring along with eclectic contemporary pieces, the hotel is the ideal mix between comforting and cutting edge. I just love the sinks, aren’t they beautiful?!!

I’m really taken with this gorgeous modern beachfront hotel in beautiful Bali… could it be more perfect?!
Named Luna2 after the first spacecraft to land on the moon in the 50’s, it is a private 5 bedroom hotel with 23 members of staff on hand to make your stay as delightful as possible. Both the architectural design and interior decor is ‘remeniscent of great modernism of the past century, with a clear vision of the future’, hence the name Luna2.

The interior decor theme is clearly retro-modern, bringing styles of the past bang up to date to suit the modern world. I am loving the striking simplicity of the furniture and the fact there is a colour theme for each room, bringing the pieces together. The feature walls with patterned wallpaper and the modern artwork finish it all off so well, don’t you agree?
