Traditional Moroccan decor
I often dream of visiting Morocco- the colourful lifestyle and ornate decor seems so appealing. La Sultana is a beautifully-designed 5 star Moroccan hotel, created from 4 riads into 21 suits. I doubt I’d be staying in a 5 star hotel if I go, as at the moment my purse strings won’t stretch that far! But still, I’d love to visit a place like this, with traditional Moroccan decor. It’s beautiful, isn’t it!

All this dreary January weather has got me dreaming of far away places with sunnier climes. I think it’s time to book a holiday and these images below are making me lean towards Marrakech!

The sea-blue curtains are such a gorgeous colour aren’t they? Perfect for a dreamy, restful night’s sleep. The burnt orange, blues and greens all work in harmony with eachother and the detail on the ceiling is just stunning! I’m liking the original tiled flooring too, very pretty.

There would be no such thing as a dull day here!

Coco Målé books into La Mamounia!
Our buyers here at Coco Målé had the unfortunate task last week of jetting off to Marrakech for ‘business’ purposes… I think I’m in the wrong job! Joking aside, the girls worked really hard whilst they were there, sourcing the best products for our customers (you lucky people!). It’s not an easy task and it can be quite daunting, especially when having to stick to a schedule and a budget!! How an earth do you resist buying everything?!
For that true Marrakech experience, the girls were booked into the amazing La Mamounia for the duration of their stay. It’s a stunning hotel; modern with traditional values, set in 20 acre gardens. You really get a taste of true Moroccan style there.
“This is a wonderful place, and the hotel one of the best I have ever used,” Winston Churchill said in a 1935 letter to his wife Clementine about the hotel, located on the fringes of the medina.
After three years and a 120 million euro upgrade (!!), guests can expect to be ‘wowed’ to say the least. The reopening of La Mamounia is huge news in the travel industry with it also being one of the most legendary hotels in the world.
Next year I’m going to hide myself in one of the girl’s suitcases… well it’s worth a try!!

The delights of Marrakech- Le Palais Rhoul
We love the Moroccan look here a Coco Målé. It is such a strong style, full of inspirational ideas- a theme which is very much on trend. Le Palais Rhoul is a luxury 5 star hotel in Marrakech which oozes quality and adds that special touch with its use of unique shapes and decor.
