The sight of meringue takes me back to Christmas as a child, when my mum would present those weird meringue ‘nests’ for dessert. If you were really unlucky, you got a very chewy, sticky one.  Eeeww!!  Well these inviting images certainly changed my perception!  Banish those thoughts of grannies gathering for tea and cake… meringue has entered the 21st century!
