At home with… interior designer Kirsten Krason

April 8th, 2011

US Interior designer Kirsten Krason is the owner of one of our favourite blogs, 6th Street Design School.  You always anticipate the home of an interior designer to be really cool and inspiring don’t you?! Well Kirsten’s place doesn’t disappoint!

Kirsten likes to keep her home in South Jordan, Utah, neutral when it comes to wall colour and then add pops of vibrant colour to each room.  I love the contrast in pattern…

” My home is my pride and joy. I have spent so much time creating a space that I love and adore “.

Blue is one of Kirsten’s favourite colours and features somewhere in each room of the house!  The rich colour pop really ‘lifts’ the bedroom, above- the perfect finishing touch.

” I’m a risk taker when it comes to design.  Bold colors and graphic patterns really inspire me when creating new and beautiful spaces “.

Such a lovely, inviting home with just the right balance of colour and pattern!
