Blueberries are well known for their health benefits, however I do find eating them on their own a little unsatisfying- they don’t really taste of much! I prefer to use them as a topping on my cereal or mixed into a fruit salad. Even more appealing (but nowhere near as healthy, sigh!!) are these delicious blueberry muffins, below.
They may be full of calories but these muffins look a lot healthier than those stodgy processed ones that fill the supermarket shelves, don’t they? I’m sure we can count one muffin as one of our ‘five a day’….
