Fill-in the blanks
Taking down the Christmas decorations and can leave your home looking somewhat bare. Although it’s a nice feeling to have your home ‘back to normal’ again, I can’t help but feel a little saddened at the lack of festive decor! To avoid the January blues, I suggest filling those empty spaces with the perfect home accessory- pretty fresh flowers. Cost-effective, colourful and attractive, a delightful bunch of flowers will put a spring in your step!

Use your imagination when it comes to vases- for example coffee jars or jam jars are perfect for displaying delicate wild flowers.

A fresh start
People have been asking if I’ve had a nice Christmas but as far as I’m concerned, the whole week should be filled with Christmas cheer! After all, we spend hours decorating our homes and weeks preparing for this time of year, so we should enjoy it for as long as possible.
As New Year fast approaches, you might want to consider making some changes to your festive home decor. By stripping back and replacing the strong, jewel Christmas colours with white and more muted shades, you’ll be welcoming-in the New Year with a fresh, clean outlook!
