I’m loving the style of Swedish photographer Mari Eriksson.  The imagery really captures the essence of Swedish interior design and shows that white is far from boring!  Fresh, understated and luxurious- I could happily live in a place like this…

I’m loving Atlanta-based photographer, Deborah Whitlaw Llewellyn‘s interior shots.  The colours are so vibrant and fresh!  Not only that but the images are packed full of inspiration… 

Use colour and mood lighting to give a room a warm, welcoming feel.  This property has been left bare and stripped back, so it may feel cooler inside in winter.  Imagine snuggling up with some hot cocoa on the sofa next to an open fire…

Above:  how to ‘do’ nautical.  There’s no need to go ‘overboard’ (pardon the pun!) with a theme.  A gentle nod is all that is required to make a statement.

Note how the stripes on the stool are reflected again in the rug for continuity and to ‘bring the room together’.  And is that a Hermes bag i spy?  I’d love to see what’s inside!

Seeing as Christmas is just around the corner, I included this image above, too!  I like the idea of grouping smaller trees together rather than having one large one.  Just something a bit different- and a little easier!
