Sarah Hvass is my kind of artist- contemporary, cool, fun and rich in colour  (her illustrations, that is- although I’ve no doubt Sarah is too!)

It’s Sarah’s colourful artwork which really livens-up her funky Copenhagen home.  You’d think that with all this colour and pattern, the decor would become too ‘busy’ but Sarah has ensured this doesn’t happen by balancing the brightness perfectly with a neutral background…

The pictures do all the talking- no need for much else!

I love the uniformity and organisation of the kitchen- it works so well without looking as though Sarah has tried too hard.  The shapes, colours and textures all complement one another.

Pick-out colours from a piece of artwork and reflect them in your furniture or choice of home accessories as a way of ‘tying’ the overall look of the room together.
