Couture furniture
Jean Paul Gaultier and furniture brand Roche Bobois have joined forces to create a fantastic couture furniture collection and I am loving the sofa!
The collection includes a paravent bed, with an upholstered headboard and the Mah Jong modular sofa, upholstered by Jean Paul Gaultier and designed by Hans Hopfer.

The intricate prints and nautical vibes just scream Gaultier. Fun but classy, this collection suggests you love style but don’t take yourself too seriously. With so much going on it may be wise to keep the surrounding space simple and clean for maximum impact.
What do you think, is it just nice too look at but too much to live with?

Luxury Lounging
I really do like this sofa by the Japanese designer known as “Nosigner”. I’m just not sure if it is a practical design. For me, a sofa is for lounging on and relaxing and so the Hex sofa is more of a design feature. Inspired by the perfect shape of minerals, the Hex resembles a hexagonal single-crystal. There are no armrests but the sofa’s sloped shoulders carry out this function instead. The plywood envelops the lower part of the seat and covers the side edges, with built-in mini-tables. Just be careful you don’t stretch-out too much in case your coffee ends up on the floor!!

Three-in-one furniture!
I like the modern idea of buying items with more than one function. Not only does it save on space but also money! Here is a simple sofa, bed and table all in one. The storage shelf with its integrated leather cover can even be used as a limited workspace – there is certainly room for a laptop here. Genius!
