A place for your clutter!

August 13th, 2010

Being a creative person I keep a lot of my fashion and interior magazines for reference.  As you can imagine it doesn’t take long for them to all pile up!  All these magazines have a tendency to use up far too much shelf space… but what can you do?

Well you could try this Stack Chair vinyl wall sticker by Florian Kremb and create a ‘row of chairs’ using piles of magazines!

Silly?  Maybe.  But I like it!

Luscious laundry rooms

July 12th, 2010

Think about it… just how much time do we spend doing the laundry?!  While few of us get any enjoyment out of  our washing and ironing routine, we can at least make the laundry room a more appealing place to be.  Having a more efficient layout with everything to hand makes sense and is achievable no matter how big or small the area is.  How gorgeous are these examples, below?

This room has everything to hand in one small area.  Consider incorporating a TV  to make ironing a little more bearable!

The ultimate space-saver!

June 18th, 2010

What do you think of these innovative space saving ideas, below?  These days everything seems to be getting smaller and more efficient and that includes our homes too.  I like how the raised ‘bedroom and office‘ area almost forms an upstairs in itself.  I’m not overly keen on the fact that the office space is so close to the bed… when do you get time to unwind?!  Work should really be kept separate but when you’ve little space perhaps you just have to compromise…
