Shopping should be a pleasurable experience, right?  After all, we are parting with our hard-earned cash and we need to feel inspired.  I  stumbled upon the Caravan website recently and I love its crafty, ‘handmade’ look.  A perfect nominee for our Shop of the Week!  I imagine their shop in Shoreditch, London, to be just as enticing…

If your style is more retro than ‘right now’, you’ll love the home accessories on offer.  From goose lamps to bug magnets to pineapple wall sconces, it’s a website sure to brighten-up your day!

Fancy injecting a bit of summer colour into your home?  Scottish design company Bluebell Gray sells pretty hand-painted home accessories, from cushions to throws, to lampshades and mugs, perfect for giving your home a little lift.  Fiona launched her first collection in 2009 and is enjoying great success to date.  I can see why- her prints are adorable!

“  Every design is produced in a limited number and is individually signed, allowing customers to buy a truly unique piece of design art for their home, something to be treasured, loved and collected!  “

… is the motto over at Niki Jones and it’s a statement we follow here at Coco Måle too!  Having a home filled with meaningful furniture and home accessories makes it so much more personal to you and your family.  Pieces with a story behind them are special and make great talking points.  How great would it be to be able to say ‘this item was handcrafted in India’, or ‘this was bought on our recent holiday to Africa’ ?

Hand crafted Moroccan Thikria Mirror, was £375 now £190

Niki Jones is a lovely online store full of beautiful home accessories to excite and inspire you. Who wants high street buys when you can have pretty handcrafted pieces like these?

Set of 5 and painted Indian Owl Matrioshkas, £100
